To make change, you have to make understanding, visible, and relevant. Society must understand the past, in order to understand a present. That being said, history must be told accurately and correctly, and all methods and forms, regardless of how harmful or uncomfortable it might be. Uncomfortability is required! In order to move forward our children must understand the horrors, the devastation in the untold truth. They must also know the achievements, the accomplishments that this country has moved forward with and thrived. When we speak about history, this place “turtle Island” is the home of the native indigenous population. This also been the home of native African Americans and descendants of enslaved people from West Africa. As well as colonization the bipod community and the transition from colony to strong military force. We are, United States of America we are not perfect. We are humans, and we make countless mistakes. But we can make change by taking the advice from the past, and our ancestors to move forward in the future. Modern society of western America.
